2016 Youth International Action Exposition

Encourage young people to explore the world

In order to encourage the youth to participate in international actions, Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education organized the “2016 Youth International Action Exposition” and solicits for overseas volunteer groups and the young people who have plentiful experience in international affairs through practicing, learning, taking vacation and doing part-time jobs all over the world on the site. By sharing of experience and booth introduction, the Exposition encouraged more young people to walk out of their comfort zone and explore the world to make the soaring beauty of Taiwan seen by the world.

The CYCU overseas volunteer group, “Love for Cambodia”, spent 29 days in providing services in Cambodia in summer vacation. The student, Tseng Wan-Ling, indicated that they provided the service by teaching the local teachers about English education courses and teaching practice, interesting course design, e.g. singing and picture books, in order to help them make students concentrate on their teaching in the class. The leader of “NCCU IVA, Qing Hai Group”, Lin Yu-Hsuan, also mentioned that they went to Qing Hai, Mainland China to lead the local children to learn such courses as English, first aid and environment protection, and they not only taught the knowledge in the book but also desired to make the children interested in learning.

Youth Development Administration hopes that more young people will be encouraged to explore the world through the Exposition and experience shared by young people. The Administration will also continue to promote overseas volunteer, international experience learning, domestic/overseas tutorial and feat plans, encourage the youth to develop their global view and upgrade the global mobility.
